Quality Compliance Coordinator, Bloomfield CT

 

Supports Quality Control group, maintains quality system and compliance documentation, prepares and submits reports to internal\external sources, and is responsible for quality system document control. 
 
Essential functions:
  • Follows company policies and procedures with regard to the Quality System as they apply.
  • Assists the Quality Manager in collecting, organizing, monitoring, distributing, and reporting data and information related to quality system objectives.
  • Prepares nonconforming material reports and maintains rejection database; coordinates and is responsible for verifying returned goods and ensuring proper disposition.
  • Prepares and submits corrective and\or preventive action reports for internal or external (customer, registrar) sources. 
  • Maintain all applicable Inspection, Quality and\or Management Information system (M2M) records.
  • Accurately prepare and submit Customer Surveys and Regulatory forms as applicable. These may include, but are not limited to FDA, DOD, NAFTA, REACH, ROHS, ITAR, IMDS.
  • Will be required to acquire sufficient company knowledge in order to complete ‘F’.
  • Will be required to learn, and demonstrate a working knowledge of, all applicable aspects of Management Information system.
  • Maintains electronic, and any necessary hardcopy, quality system documentation folders.
  • Calculates\maintains and distributes On-Time-Delivery reports. Prepares summary reports as required.
  • Audits internal production documentation; lot control, shipping documentation\quantities, certifications.
  • Will be required to qualify as internal quality auditor capable of conducting internal audits to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality management standards.
  • Associates Degree preferred, Minimum GED or High school Diploma with 5-8 years quality administrative experience preferred.
Training and Experience:
  • Must have extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Outlook), Adobe, and Windows Operating system.
  • Must have a general knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 13485standards for quality management systems.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willing to actively continue training through courses and seminars (desired).
