Assembly Technician, CT - 1st Shift

 

Following established procedures, responsibilities may include some or all of the following:


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform basic assembly and test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures and inspection measurement equipment in a production environment.
  • Required to hand deburr.
  • Able to operate single stage presses, and progressive die presses.
  • Produce and inspect assemblies for complete conformance to specification.
  • Rework malfunctions disclosed by test data.
  • Record test results on data forms.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications and quality directives.
  • Observe all safety rules and maintain a foreign object damage free work area.
  • Perform other related responsibilities. Packs product in accordance with specifications for various models and used prescribed methods to maintain quality standards for packing.
  • Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation.
  • Commitment toward quality, safety, and continual improvement.
  • Ability to work frequent overtime.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Able to use a microscope for extended periods of time.
  • Occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
