Credit and Collections / AR Clerk – Vernon Hills, IL


The Credit & Collections/AR Clerk is responsible for the collection of outstanding receivables from commercial customers along with the ability to research and facilitate resolution of disputes.

 Duties include:

  • Research and gathering of credit related data for use in assigning of credit and limits
  • Maintain records of receipts and past due balances
  • Maintain all relevant correspondence with customers
  • Preparation and posting of cash receipts
  • Invoicing
  • Miscellaneous filing

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Be adept at customer collections.
  • Sound knowledge of generally accepted practices in accounts receivables & collections
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience is required  
  • Working knowledge of Excel/Word/Outlook is expected.
