PR Product Specialist - SM, CT - 1st Shift


The responsibilities of this position are very broad and encompass all aspects of communications, customer support, problem resolution and interactions between Deringer-Ney Inc., our customers, and our Sales Force.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Communications

  • Review all new customer applications prior to submission for estimating.
  • Communicate with manufacturing, production control, engineering, quality departments and outside salesforce.

Customer Support

  • Manage and modify customer requested delivery schedules.
  • Manage quotation/estimating process.
  • Contract/Order Review and order entry preparation.
  • Production progress monitoring, expediting, and reporting to customer.

Relationship Management

  • Prime customer contact.
  • Interface between Deringer/Ney Inc. engineering and customers.
  • Focal point of customer relationships.

Problem Resolution

  • Manage customer complaint process including RMA process.
  • Manage and resolve a variety of problem issues:  pricing, payment delinquency, delivery schedules, etc.
     

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Price and quote materials and some parts (Ney standards).
  • Function as experts on M2M Order Systems.
  • Competitive Analysis
  • Market Research
  • Sales Support
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Bachelor degree.
  • Business understanding (cost structures, margin requirements, inventory management).
  • M2M System Expertise (advanced/expert capabilities).
  • Professional sales communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Technical/analytical aptitude and capability.
  • Working knowledge of customer drawings/prints.
  • ISO/QS knowledge and understanding.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Drawing/blueprint reading skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Product Training
