Alloying Technician - Bloomfield, CT

The Alloying Technician is responsible for creating alloy put-ups, and raw material inventory in the main vault and alloy room areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Configure alloy put ups for the melt room using the Alloy software

Reconciliation of alloy work orders and returned scrap
-
Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials
-
Perform required computer transactions using the Alloy software and MRP
-
Receive into stock raw materials purchased for alloying needs using the MRP system
-
Perform cycle counts of raw material
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Any other MRP computer transactions required for Inventory Control
QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to navigate Made to Manage (M2M) or other ERP system

Working knowledge of a spreadsheet program

Lift up to 50lbs
