Business Development & Market Manager - Semiconductor and Test

This role is a key function in our sales and marketing team and works in close collaboration with Product Management to develop and execute the market strategy and sales.  The Business Development and Market Manager is responsible to set the short and long term strategy for his/her target market and strategic accounts.  The strategy will allow DNI to successfully introduce innovations answering unmet needs or displace competitive solutions by leveraging differentiation in the value proposition, at the perfect time for market acceptance. The Business Development and Market Manager has both strategic goals and near term sales growth targets.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, assess, and develop new business opportunities leading to successful commercialization.
  • Lead Deringer-Ney's growth initiatives in Semiconductor segments such as Test, Burn In Sockets, Interconnects, and Micro Manufacturing components.
  • Incorporate extensive knowledge of the industry to partner with stakeholders to develop market right products, support materials, and pricing recommendations across all semiconductor solutions.
  • Work with prospective customers to identify unmet needs, and present compelling solutions.
  • Initiate, determine, and present ROI business case analysis.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends by attending trade shows, events, and staying on top of market insights and developments.
  • Surface new ideas, product applications, and solutions to development teams.
  • Communicate and link key value propositions, differentiators to customers.
  • Craft customized go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop long term business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong, multi-level relationships with business partners at the customers' and partners' organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in business, economics, and/or technical area.
  • Strong knowledge of the semiconductor industry required.  At least 5-10 years experience, demonstrable track record with clear knowledge of the market, technologies, players, and channels.
  • Strong relationship building skills internally and externally.
  • Strong influencing skills and storytelling skills and the ability to champion projects both cross-functionally and vertically within the organization.
  • Have a solid understanding of finance and ROI analysis.
  • Interpersonal, teamwork, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to execute.
  • Up to 50% travel may be required, as business and global situation permits.
