Economet Machine Set-Up / Operator – 2nd Shift - Marshall, NC

An operator/set-up person is responsible for the complete set-up and operation of all Bi-metal machines and tubular designs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Set-up machine for production of parts per customer specs.

Operate machines at maximum efficiency to produce quality parts.

Perform in-process inspections.

Maintain logs and process sheets.
-
Ensure all required PM’s are done and recorded.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Mechanical aptitude and machine operation exposure.

Ability to work as a team.
-
Ability to record dates.
-
Ability to use measuring and magnification equipment and recognize key dimensions.

Familiarity with computers and entry of data.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
-
Previous experience working with bi-metal machines preferred.

Strong communications skills oral and written.
-
Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
