Insert Molding Operator, CT - 1st Shift



  • Operates insert molding machines, and works as part of a team.
  • Identifies molding defects, ensuring product meets quality standards.
  • Inspects parts visually and using measuring tools; documents results and ensures compliance to drawings and specifications.
  • Operates equipment at or above reasonable expectancy levels.
  • Completes paperwork, and/or makes computer entries.
  • Performs testing of products, as required.
  • Ensures that work areas, machines and equipment are safe, clean and orderly.
  • Assists in the training of new Insert Molding Operators, as requested.
  • Performs re-inspection, re-work, sorting and cleaning of plastic parts, as requested.
  • Performs other related assembly and processing tasks, as required.
  • Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation.
  • Commitment toward quality, safety, and continual improvement.
  • Ability to work frequent overtime.


  • Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Able to use a microscope for extended periods of time.
  • Occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
