Manual Lathe Operator - Marshall, NC
ITAR/EAR Requirements:
Presently, all positions at Deringer Ney, Inc. require access to information or technology that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and/or other US government security regulations. These regulations do not permit access rights to non-US citizens or to other unauthorized individuals. MINIMUM 1 year of lathe experience or a CNC manufacturing technology degree.

MUST be able to accurately and efficiently set up, operate, breakdown and maintain your equipment.

Experience with interacting with and utilize G code programs, mill turn experience is a plus.

Ability to identify proper speeds & feeds based upon feature and material.

Excellent organizational skills, with high attention to detail.

A solid understanding of manufacturing, with technical knowledge.

Confident blueprint reading skills.

Lean and or ISO experience/training is a plus.

Excellent opportunity to work as part of the tooling department running a manual lathe. Some on the job training will be provided.
Training and Education:

High School diploma.

At least 1 year of machine operation experience · Mechanical skills / aptitude preferred.
