Material and Processing Engineer Internship or Co-Op – Bloomfield, Connecticut
Will be performing the following tasks and projects with the Material and Processing Engineers' guidance:
Update and create new work instructions.
Solve general issues and develop tools to aid Production employees.
Set up sheet for molding.
Improve Bimetal welding process.
Support Kaizen Events.
Shadow boxes and PEG boards - 5S activities.
Create data base for monitoring and managing customer tooling and molds.
Organize item master for sub-assembly parts
Design and execute (scan and catalog) storage system for paper drawings and documents (that currently store in the cabinets in the Production Support office) and organize them for easy search and digital access.
Qualifications: Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Student - Junior or Senior
