Mechanical Lab Tech, Bloomfleld, CT
The Mechanical Lab Technician is responsible for the mechanical testing of laboratory samples.
Duties Include:
Training and Experence:
-
A.S. in Metallurgy or related discipline or equivalent laboratory experience.

One year experience in the operation of physical testing equipment (tensile testing, microhardness testing, mount preparation, metallographic examination, etc).

Some experience in chemical practices and analysis desirable (specifically solution chemistry, ICP, and / or XRF analysis).
