Quality Inspector Receiving - Bloomfield, CT
ITAR/EAR Requirements:
Presently, all positions at Deringer Ney, Inc. require access to information or technology that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and/or other US government security regulations. These regulations do not permit access rights to non-US citizens or to other unauthorized individuals. Therefore, all applicants must be US Citizens or US Permanent Residents ("green card holders") to be considered for a position.
Conducts routine inspection of Received Materials, components, and manufactured components as required, to determines conformance to Purchase Order and / or drawing specification.
Skills and Education Required:

High school Diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years inspection experience in a metal stamping, injection molding, related industry, or equivalent.

Ability to think analytically and independently.

Ability to work effectively on their own as well as with others at all levels of the organization.

Good communication skills, both verbal, and written.

Ability to adapt to change.

Ability to demonstrate understanding of Statistical Process Control.

Ability to read and analyze part prints.
-
Full understanding of the proper use of measurement devices such as Micrometers, Optical comparators, Vision and Touch CMM's, Drop Indicators, Force Gages, Calipers, etc.

Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office software (Word and Excel at a minimum) (Must have)

Ability to follow established procedures.

Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
