Quality Inspector Receiving - Bloomfield, CT

Conducts routine inspection of Received Materials, components, and manufactured components as required, to determines conformance to Purchase Order and / or drawing specification.

Skills and Education Required:

• High school Diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years inspection experience in a metal stamping, injection molding, related industry, or equivalent.
• Ability to think analytically and independently.
• Ability to work effectively on their own as well as with others at all levels of the organization.
• Good communication skills, both verbal, and written.
• Ability to adapt to change.
• Ability to demonstrate understanding of Statistical Process Control.
• Ability to read and analyze part prints.
• Full understanding of the proper use of measurement devices such as Micrometers, Optical comparators, Vision and Touch CMM's, Drop Indicators, Force Gages, Calipers, etc.
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office software (Word and Excel at a minimum) (Must have)
• Ability to follow established procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
