Research and Development Internship – Bloomfield, Connecticut

 

Will perform duties and receive training and mentorship from R&D metallurgists and technicians.

  • DNI Alloys & Process
  • Techniques used to measure material properties, and lab tests used to evaluate material and component application performance
  • Digitalize hard copy records of material and device testing
  • R & D Processes to curate a digital archive of paper records.
  • Design and maintain a card catalog which will serve as a lookup tool.

Qualifications: Sophomore or Junior Engineering student who has completed an introduction to Material Science & Engineering program.
