Software Analyst

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support enterprise software systems (ERP, ECM, CRM, etc.).
  • Develop, maintain, manage, and modify all software systems, software tools, and applications.
  • Define specifications for complex software programming applications.
  • Interface with end-users and software consultants.
  • Coordinate and support IT professionals in installing and analyzing applications and tools.
  • Analyze, develop, and implement testing procedures, programming, and documentation.
  • Analyze, design, and develop modifications and changes to existing systems to enhance performance.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-4 years of experience working with information technologies and software systems.
  •  Experience supporting ERP and related systems for manufacturing.
  • Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with database maintenance and administrations.
  • SSRS report writing experience.
  • Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office.
  • Background in supporting software systems for manufacturing.
  • Project Management experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of a variety of programming languages (.NET, C#, Visual Basic, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical skills. 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor of Science in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience.
