Custom Electrical Contacts
We produce finished contact assemblies made chiefly from high-density refractory metal compositions of silver or copper blended with tungsten or molybdenum as well as materials in silver nickel and silver graphite.

Contact Assemblies
The flexible braided custom connectors are produced from either braided copper wire or thin-leaf copper strips. Hoyt shunts feature solid-tube end terminations including a solder-dipped core. They can be built to any configuration including multiple-wire configurations, custom drilled-hole patterns and optional plating and insulations. Specialty-cast copper terminals, machined-copper extruded terminals and brazed silver contact terminals are also available.

Powder Metal Contacts
We operate a fully equipped powder metallurgy department housing specialty powder processing and blending equipment, powder presses rated up to 35 tons, and hydrogen-based batch sintering furnaces.

Shunts and Braided Connectors
We provide a wide array of low-to-medium voltage flexible connectors used in vibration motor mount and transformer applications.

Switch Gear Contacts
servicing the utility grade switchgear markets, manufacturing components for a variety of low and medium voltage applications, including circuit breakers, LTC voltage regulators, reclosers, disconnects, SF6 gas interrupters, automatic transfer switches and vacuum interrupters.

Standard Electrical Contacts
Our standard contacts and contact assemblies are actively used by systems across the nation — from Massachusetts to Florida and from New York to San Francisco. For over 25 years, we have been the largest independent manufacturer of contacts for the transit industry.
